Samuel started his career training as a biomedical scientist at Newcastle University where he obtained a degree with honours in 2016. From there he decided to retrain and use his love of teaching education towards the optometry field where he graduated from Aston University with his second degree with honours in 2019.

After becoming a fully qualified Optometrist Sam has worked delivering post-graduate teaching with one of the UK’s major optical companies. He has delivered and written CPD courses as well as delivering pre-registration and CLiP courses.

As well as being passionate in regards to teaching others Sam has also maintained his curiosity and eagerness to progress himself gaining post-garaduate qualifications (Prof Cert Med Ret. and Glaucoma) and is currently undertaking a diploma in independent prescribing.
